CEB continues to fly COVID vaccines to Zambo, Tuguegarao

The Philippines’ leading carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) once again transported COVID vaccines to Zamboanga and Tuguegarao on March 10 and 12, respectively. These vaccines are part of the second batch received by both destinations.

CEB also carried the first batch of 21,000 doses on March 05, 2021. This second batch comprises of around 32,000 doses (about 20,000 for Zamboanga and about 12,000 for Tuguegarao). The vaccines were stored in a refrigerated storage container and were handled with utmost precision to ensure its conditions are preserved up until its release at the local destinations.

To date, CEB has already flown around 53,000 doses to both cities.

“We are happy to continue supporting the distribution of vaccines across the archipelago. Rest assured we will keep doing what we can to ensure the successful rollout of our country’s vaccination program,” said Alex Reyes, President and CEO of Cebgo.

CEB is proud to operate the widest network in the Philippines, reaching more destinations with shorter runways through its ATR fleet. The carrier can fully support transport requirements through its CEB Cargo fleet of two ATR freighters and a recently-converted A330 freighter. CEB also transports cargo through its passenger fleet of 70 aircraft.
