NCT's Taeyong sings Ben&Ben's 'Pagtingin'

K-pop boy band NCT's leader Taeyong played and sang Pinoy band Ben&Ben’s song “Pagtingin” in a live broadcast.

Taeyong held a broadcast on Naver V Live on Feb. 28 where he played songs that were suggested by fans.

One of them was Ben&Ben’s “Pagtingin,” which was released in 2019 and used for the movie ilm “LSS,” or “Last Song Syndrome,” that starred Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos.

Taeyong enjoyed listening to the track and sang along part of it: “Wag mo akong sisihin / Mahirap ang tumaya / Dagat ay sisisirin / Kahit walang mapala / 'Pag nilahad ang damdamin / Sana 'di magbago ang pagtingin / Aminin ang mga lihim / Sana 'di magbago ang pagtingin.”

Filipinos who watched the broadcast were surprised and happy that Taeyong sang it.

Some of the comments were ““Ben and Ben , Love ittt. thanks taeyong,” “TAEYONG BAKA NAMAN FULL COVER NG PAGTINGIN” and “Taeyong singing in Filipino (Tagalog)!!! BEN&BEN,” “Oh my GODDD Ben and Ben,” “Wawww pagtinginnn” and “He's so precious. Tyong plz always stay safe always. Mahal ka namin!! From the Philippines!”

On YouTube, Pinoys commented, “OMGG I am not Taeyong Bias But…THIS MAKES ME CRYYY!!” and “I just new to this Fandom..so yeahhh..OMG as a Filipina.’

Other wrote, “Him singing in tagalog just completes my day,” “omgg nakailang replay na ko kinikilig ako taeyonggg,” “kinikilig akooooooo omg ty!!!!!!!” and Taeyong the hidden ben and ben bandmate.
