HBO and HBO Max receive 9 Golden Globe nods

HBO and HBO Max received 9 Golden Globe® nominations for the upcoming 78th annual Golden Globe® Awards. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Sunday, Feb.28 (March 1 Manila time).

HBO’s 7 Golden Globe® nominations this year include:

• 4 nominations for “The Undoing”: Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television; Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television (Nicole Kidman); Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television (Hugh Grant); and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Supporting Role (Donald Sutherland)

• 1 nomination for “Perry Mason”: Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama (Matthew Rhys)

• 1 nomination for “Lovecraft Country”: Best Television Series, Drama*

• 1 nomination for “I Know This Much Is True”: Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television (Mark Ruffalo)

HBO Max’s 2 Golden Globe® nominations this year include:

• 2 nominations for “The Flight Attendant”: Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy (Kaley Cuoco)*
