GOT7's Mark Tuan documents his departure from Seoul to his arrival in LA

After K-pop boy band GOT7 members decided not to renew their exclusive contracts with JYP Entertainment upon the expiration last Jan. 19, each of them made plans on what to do next.
For Mark Tuan, his initial decision was to leave Seoul to be with his family in Los Angeles, California.
On his personal YouTube channel, Mark uploaded a video titled “A new beginning” about his departure from Seoul on Jan. 31 including bidding goodbye to his bandmates and arrival in LA.
“Here are some behind the scenes footage of me moving back to LA from Korea,” he wrote. The video was uploaded on YouTube on Feb. 6 and in nearly 24 hours, it has garnered 2.5 million views.
The video showed Mark packing his bags and leaving his apartment with Jackson, JB and Yugyeom sending him off.
“Goodbye house. It was nice living here,” he said as he made a last checkup of his apartment.
Jinyoung joined Mark, Jackson, JB and Yugyeom in a video call and asked Mark, “When are you coming back?” to which Mark replied, “I don’t know.”
“See you next year, bro,” Mark told Yugyeom, who said, “Year, it’s not like we’ll never go to the States, anyway.”
Jackson said, “That’s not the vibe right now. It’s so sad.”
At Incheon International Airport, Mark also talked to Youngjae and BamBam on the phone. Mark told Youngjae, “Stay healthy” and Youngjae told him, “Love you.”
“Get home safe,” BamBam told Mark. “I’m gonna visit LA anytime soon, alright? I’m gonna miss you man.” At Los Angeles International Airport, Mark was welcomed by fans.
Mark’s subscribers to his YouTube channel have increased to 2.24 million from hitting one million last Jan. 20.
