Maxus hopes to continue its momentum into 2021 with the arrival of its newest model, the D60. Serving as a follow-up to its G10 and G50, the D60 offers comfort for a whole family in the form of a crossover SUV.
Like the other models in the Maxus lineup, the D60 draws stares with its distinctive design, bright colors, and very tempting price.

It’s hard to miss the D60 with its massive front grille. It’s slim headlights are linked by a chrome trim that stretches across it. Stacked foglights and turn signals flank the grille on either side. It wears rugged material on the lower bumper, fenders and rocker panels. The side of its body features unique fender flairs and angles seemingly sculpted out of a solid billet. Behind, it features a broad tail light strip.

As many can expect, the D60’s interior features some very modern design. It’s most distinctive feature is a tablet on the center console that houses an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a soft-touch climate control system. Naturally, it come with USB and Bluetooth connectivity and channels sound through a six-speaker sound system.

The driver gets a unique instrument cluster combining analog dials and an LCD screen in a trapezoidal shape. This is paired with a flat-bottomoed wheel with built-in entertainment controls.
Propelling it is a 1.5-liter, direct-injection turbo inline-four. It produces 169-PS at 5500 rpm and 250-Nm of torque at 1700 - 4300 rpm. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission regulates this power for a smoother drive.
The D60 also comes with an extensive set of safety features made up of dual front and side airbags, anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, auto brake hold, electronic stability control, hill-hold control (aka hill-start assist), parking sensors, reverse camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Maxus is offering the vehicle in two variants: Pro (P1,148,000)and Elite (P1,258,000). All that was mentioned can be found in the Pro, while the Elite adds a cobweb grille, matrix-style full LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, full-leather upholstery, keyless engine start, and third row seating, turning the D60 into a seven-seater.

The D60 is now available at all Maxus dealers in colors like Competitive Orange, Metal Black, Polar Ash (Elite exclusive), Wace Red (Pro exclusive), Warm Argent, and Warm White.
