Details about Jane De Leon's upcoming “Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series” remained vague, but the actress assured everyone that her version of the popular Filipino fictional character will be more millennial to keep up with the times.
In a recent Zoom interview, De Leon said: "Sa'kin po it's very modern… sobrang modern po talaga compared sa kung anong meron tayo before and sobrang young po ng Darna na makikilala n'yo po dito sa serye na ito."
Asked about Darna's love life, she said: "Kung ako po ang tatanungin, siyempre si Darna may puso rin naman siya at gusto niya rin po maramdaman ang pagmamahal at ma-experience po 'yun. Ang tanong lang rito: 'sino ba?'
De Leon also disclosed her feelings about the project's initial setback, when she shared about the Zoom meeting with ABS-CBN bosses the cancellation of her "Darna" film.

Before taking flight as the famous heroine, you could catch De Leon as Police Capt. Natalia on ABS-CBN's long-time action drama television series "FPJ's: Ang Probinsyano" with Coco Martin.
