Lindsay de Vera to take legal action vs rumormongers

Kapuso star Lindsay de Vera is considering taking legal action against those who started the gossip that actor Dingdong Dantes got her pregnant.

In an interview on "24 Oras" on GMA 7 Tuesday night, De Vera has repeatedly denied the pregnancy rumor which she called "fake news."

“No. Hindi po 'yan totoo… Malakas po loob ko to tell them, to ask them to come forward with proof if they can. Patunayan po nila na nabuntis ako ni Kuya Dong,” she said.

De Vera said that she is now talking to lawyers about the possible filing of charges.

“I encourage you. If you have the proof na nabuntis ako ni Kuya Dong, please come forward and we will meet each other in court,” she declared.

De Vera and Dantes worked together in "Alyas Robin Hood” in 2017.

"Kung nabuntis po ako, dapat 'Victor Magtanggol' pa lang lumalaki 'yung tiyan ko o may napapansin na po sila sa katawan ko na may kakaiba. But I still did projects, I still did guestings all throughout the year," she said.

De Vera said that she is focused on her studies these days. "I wanted to focus po on my studies..Since I gave some time sa career ko, sa passion ko, I also wanted to give time sa education. From 2018 up until now, I've been spending more time sa studies ko."
