CEU alumna tops WNBL Draft Combine agility tests

Centro Escolar University School of Accountancy alumna Sthefanie Ventura made impressive records on two agility tests for the Women’s National Basketball League Draft Combine.

She finished the 3/4 court sprint at just 3.18 seconds while clocking in at 12.66 seconds in the lane.

“I was not expecting to top the tests since the other participants were among the fastest players whom our team in college used to compete with and some of them were even UAAP players," said the 5-foot-8 athlete. "But I think, what helped me the most during the tests is the kind of mindset that I have. I said to myself that it is not enough for me to finish the test, but to aim for the best because it is a very rare opportunity to be part of the draft combine."

Sthefanie graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Management in 2019 and was a CEU varsity player. She is presently an accounting assistant at Maynila Properties under Meta Factor.
