Heartbreaking: Netizen seeks assistance on behalf of homeless mom and son

It was one of those regular days when sales associate Ricky Jay Laurio was on his way to work. Crossing the streets via the overpass of SM Fairview, he came across a mother who seems to be suffering from a skin disease with her nine-year-old son.

"Nakakalungkot po ang kalagayan ni nanay (It saddens me to see this mom's condition)," he laments. Her name is Jean, and she doesn't have a husband anymore—just her and her son.

"Sila ay nasa overpass habang tirik na tirik ang araw at napakainit ng panahon (They are in the overpass under the scorching heat of the sun)," he posted, asking netizens to keep sharing his post so that it will reach those who can help them.
