Sofia Andres nearly falls victim to cell phone snatcher on EDSA

Young star Sofia Andres recently fell victim to cell phone snatching on EDSA although the suspect did not succeed.

"We're here at EDSA and apparently I was just using my phone and the windows are open, mayroong mga lalaki dito na nangunguha ng phone," said Sofia, 22, during a video on Instagram Feb. 25.

“Muntik nang makuha 'yung phone ko. So be careful. 'Wag na kayong mag open ng window or anything."

"Shaking" and "freaked" with what happened, Sofia continues to ramble about it with longtime partner and father of her daughter Daniel Miranda inside their car.

"Grabe, ang bilis niya! I got super scared."

She remembered the car window was just two inches open yet snatchers still tried to get her phone while she was texting.

"Nipis ng arm niya infair. Sarap ipitin," she said.

This is not the first time that a celebrity got involved in such an incident on EDSA.

Some months ago, Vina Morales' cellphone was stolen.
