FASHION PULIS: The playmate

When Upcoming Heartthrob (UH) checked his phone, he smiled at the photos sent by Seasoned Talent (ST). The photos showed ST topless with his well-toned abs. UH was amused and thought that ST was just proving his advice. Sometime ago, ST connected with UH, as they were both into games.

The bond between the two deepened and ST started advising UH on caring for his body. These days, the trend is for actors to show off abs and ST has spent many hours in the gym to shape and maintain his physique. He encouraged UH to follow the trend. UH said that he was afraid to go to a gym given the pandemic and he did not have gym equipment. ST offered UH to workout at his home, but distance was a problem.

After receiving the topless photos, UH would complement ST for his body. ST thought that UH liked his body and he continued sending topless photos. One time, ST sent one that had his shorts slightly pulled down, which showed a bit of his pubic hair. UH felt uncomfortable. Later, UH showed the shocking photo to Production Personnel (PP) who worked for both UH and ST. UH said that there was no malice at all.

However, PP informed A Superior (AS) about ST’s antics. AS told UH not to share and delete the photos immediately and that he should not entertain anymore photos ST will send even if there was no malice. AS stressed UH should focus his time and energy on his projects and limit conversations with ST to games.

The List

Prior to the shooting of a project, Media Actor (MA) submitted a list of requests for the production team. First, MA wanted his own tent with his own portalet if they will be on location. Second, MA will only have his makeup done by his own makeup artist, whom he will bring. Third, his diet must be followed and only fish and vegetables should be served. The list raised eyebrows when the team looked into each item. One head could not help comment that MA was more demanding than his co-star.

Nonetheless, MA said that his request has always been consistent except for the addition of the mandatory swab test. In addition to the said items, MA requested for bodyguards in case they have to do a crowd scene. However, given the pandemic and strict shooting protocols, crowds will definitely not be around. The head said the requests will have to be cleared by upper management. Even if the production knew they might have a problem with the portalet, they will find a way to make MA feel at ease during the project.

The buzz among the staff is that MA’s list is as good as his last project. Depending on the performance of his project, the list can be adjusted. The production will consider his list as a small matter if his project is successful, but will put its foot down if his project shows dismal performance.
