WATCH: BTS performs cover of Coldplay's hit 'Fix You'

Global superstar BTS made history again when they debuted on MTV Unplugged Presents on Feb. 24 (Wednesday morning, Manila time).

BTS performed the acoustic versions of their mega hits "Dynamite," "Life Goes On," etc.

But music superstars surprised fans when they pulled off a charming rendition of "Fix You" which was originally done by the British rock band Coldplay.

Although "Fix You" never achieved stellar success in the US, the song became an instant hit elsewhere in the world. It was lifted from Coldplay's critically-acclaimed 2005 album titled "X&Y."

The BTS version of "Fix You" became one of the trending topics on Twitter after their live performance.
