Look back and listen to some of Daft Punk's best hits

From early anthems to collaboration works, here are some of the greatest music done by the iconic duo

Daft Punk, regarded as among the defining dance floor acts, ended their 28-year music career as they announced their split last Monday, Feb. 15, 2021.

The masked French EDM artists, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, made it official with the release of an eight-minute clip dubbed “Epilogue,” inspired by their 2006 film “Electrona,” depicting one of the robots setting the other to self-destruct mode. 

Fans all over the world are devastated by the news. Who can blame them? Daft Punk’s foot-stomping beats and their stylized videos have contributed in many ways to how we view and listen to electronic music today.

To celebrate their legacy, let’s look back on some of Daft Punk’s revolutionary works that influenced the music charts and pop culture.

‘I Feel It Coming’ and ‘Starboy’ (2016)

The duo’s 2017 performance at the Grammys with Canadian singer The Weeknd was among Daft Punk’s last appearances.

‘Get Lucky’ (2013)

This track featuring singer Pharell Williams won them the Record of the Year at the 56th edition of the Grammy Awards.

‘Tron Legacy’ (2010)

Back in December 2010, Daft Punk and Walt Disney released the motion picture soundtrack for the sci-fi film “Tron Legacy,” the only film scored by the duo.

‘Digital Love’ (2001)

Hitting on many nostalgic moments, this song was used for the Nokia 5300 campaign and other MTV shows like “Pimp My Ride,” “Date My Mom,” and “Next.”

‘One More Time’ (2000)

Part of their “Discovery” album, the track was among their greatest hits, eventually earning them a spot in Rolling Stones’ list of top 100 songs of the decade (2000-2009).

‘Around the World’ (1997)

Among their early singles, “Around the World” was the first music video where the duo donned the iconic helmets that would later be their signature look.
