Alessandra de Rossi has recently revealed that she once offered to be a surrogate mom for sister Assunta.

“Nu'ng nagpa-IVF siya tapos hindi nag-work, may dalawang eggs pa siyang natitira nu'n. Tapos sabi niya, ‘Ayaw ko na siya pagdaanan. Ayaw ko na pagdaanan 'yung feeling.’ Sabi ko, ‘Gusto mo ba ako ang magdala? Wala din naman akong direksyon sa buhay,’” Alessandra shared in an interview on “I Feel U.”

"Eh sumabog 'yung 'Kita Kita,' sabi ko 'Wait lang, may pupuntahan pa pala ako,'" she said.

But turning serious, Alessandra reiterated she was sincere about letting her womb carry her older sister's child.

“Willing na akong gawin 'yun para sa kanya ng walang bayad. Willing ako pero tinawanan lang niya ako. So hindi ko alam kung kinonsider ba niya in her head,” Alessandra related.

But thankfully, Assunta was able to conceive her first child later on.  

According to Alessandra, she was actually among the people who first learned about her sister's pregnancy.

“Hindi ako umiyak. Hindi ko alam anong naramdaman ko, hindi ko siya ma-explain. Pero tuwang-tuwa ako siyempre. Tapos sabi niya secret daw muna, don’t tell anyone. Gusto ko na i-send sa group na ‘Buntis na po.’ Pero hindi pwedeng sabihin muna kasi I cannot trust her body din eh dahil 'yun nga, hirap siya so ang hirap magsalita," she shared about her reaction when she learned the news.

It was only when Alessandra saw the photo of her niece that she started crying.

“Umiyak ako nu'ng pinadala sa akin 'yung photo na kakalabas lang niya ng delivery room tapos hawak 'yung baby. Totoo na ba ito? Totoo na nga! Send to all talaga. Doon ako, talagang, naging emotional,” she admitted.

And her excitement was indeed proven as she was the one who confirmed that Alessandra has given birth by sharing the first photo of mother and daughter on social media.

Assunta has been describing her first child with husband Jules Ledesma as a “miracle,” noting that having myoma and endometriosis made it “extremely difficult” for her to conceive.

Recall that Assunta's pregnancy came after 16 years of marriage.

Assunta and Jules tied the knot in civil rites in his hometown of San Carlos City in December 2002.
