Triumph Motorcycle Philippines now accepting reservations for P499K Trident

British motorcycle brand, Triumph, wants more Filipinos to ride this classic English heritage marquee. It is optimistic with a new model that may shake up the middleweight roadster segment with its three-cylinder engine, technology, and competitive pricing.

Called the Trident, it’s powered by an inline three-cylinder 660cc engine that produces peak power of 81-PS at 10,250 rpm and maximum torque of 64-Nm at 6,250 rpm. Handling all this power is ride-by-wire technology with two riding modes and adjustable traction control. The ‘Road’ and ‘Rain’ riding modes adjust the throttle map and traction control.There’s also a switchable traction control, integrated in both riding modes, and this can also be disengaged directly through the instrument menu.

It also comes with a new seven-inch full LED headlight. There’s also an LED tail-light and self-cancelling LED indicators.

Facing the rider is a multi-function TFT display that can connect to your phone through the My Triumph Connectivity app. Besides the usual navigation and music controls, the app also includes GoPro camera controls.

The Trident was conceived to combine the lowdown and mid-range of a twin, with the top end performance of a four-cylinder engine, to deliver the best of all worlds. Best of all, it‘s set to be one of the most accessibly priced in the entire Triumph range, serving as a very appealing entry model.

The Trident is also perfect for Pinoy riders with a seat height of just 805 mm and a wet weight of just 189 kg.

The Triumph Trident is now open for reservations with units scheduled to arrive in the second half of 2021.

It will come in two variants, one priced at P499,000 with a choice of Crystal White, Sapphire Black. The top of the line is priced at P505,000, available in Silver Ice/Diablo Red, Matt Jet Black/Silver Ice. The bikes can also be availed with an optional shift-assist up and down quickshifter kit priced at P15,000,

To reserve, a downpayment of P100,000 is required. It's refundable for those who change their mind.
