Kris Aquino, son Bimby counting days to relocate in province

Queen of all Media Kris Aquino said on Sunday, Feb. 21, that she and son Bimby are ready to relocate to a beachfront house in the province in 10 days.

"We leave in 10 days BECAUSE cargo is being packed, permits are being secured, and thank God new contracts are being signed," said Kris on Instagram.

Earlier, also on Instagram, Kris announced: "Birthday gift ko po sa sarili ko ang paglipat sa isang beachfront house na inupahan na namin for the next six months. Yes, you heard me correctly, sa probinsiya na muna po kami titira. Lalayo muna kami sa NCR (National Capital Region)."

"Pinili ko pong lumayo muna sa city living dahil habang may pandemic, kailangan mas lalo ko pang pag-ingatan ang kalusugan," she added.

Kris, who just turned 50 on Valentine's Day, said that she will just return to Tarlac every six weeks to visit her eldest son, Josh, whom she said is enjoying his life in the province.

Also, Kris admitted that she was touched by the song "Paubaya" by Moira dela Torre featuring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.

"My interpretation of “sa KANYA” is that whatever happens for both in the future, let both surrender to God’s will," Kris said.

"Early last night my good friend @michaelleyva_ passed by… he’s still young so i understand why this was his point of view about relationships. He said “ate, natutunan ko na pag magmahal ka wag mong ibigay ang lahat, maging selfish ka ng konti para kung hindi mag work, kung matapos na, hindi ka ubos, mas madaling mag move on…”

"I kept quiet because for every person, we’ll look at love differently based on our experiences… 14 years ago i would have agreed with Michael 100%…

"But as you grow older, you realize- how you love evolves… hindi na nagbibilang… i’m not a halfway type of person- i want to see it through until there will be no more what ifs… the difference now is that in the past i only wanted my what ifs answered- i learned it goes both ways, as much as i needed my questions answered, so did he… the old me worked to be sure i’d be okay at the end, this time around i’ll continue caring about how kindly life will treat him.

So we’re going to still BREATHE!”
