Alex Gonzaga interviews Mayor Vico Sotto about having first lady, being son of celebrities

In a rare instance, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto opened up about his personal life, sharing his thoughts about having a first lady and what it's like toÂ be a son of celebrities.Â

Mayor Vico, only child of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes, said finding a girlfriend is not his priority for now.

"Lalo na nu'ng nag-pandemic, talagang wala ka ng time. Focus muna tayo sa trabaho," he said.

In terms of having showbiz parents, Vico couldn't be more proud than having "supportive" parents to his endeavors.

"Medyo natakot sila para sa akin (to join the politics) pero kahit ganu'n 'yung feeling nila talagang very supportive sila. Swerte ako 'yung parents ko very down to earth," he said.

The political science graduate said that it's his childhood dream to serve the government.

On bashers, Vico said: "Minsan pero siyempre dapat hindi ka maapektuhan. Pero sa isang banda naniniwala ako na as a public servant tinitingnan ko din 'yung feedback."

"Sa mga may gusto (in a romantic way) sa inyo, pumapatol din kayo," said Alex, which made Vico laughed.

Alex, known for her funny antics, teased Vico about giving him bico, a local sweet rice cake.

"Sa lahat ng pinupuntahan ko, bico pinapakain sa akin. Siguro feeling nila hindi ako nakakain ng bico," the mayor revealed.

Vico thanked Alex for giving Pasig City 200 tablets for students, courtesy of a clothing brand that the actress endorsed.
