Kris Aquino reunites with son Josh after two months

Kris Aquino was thrilled when her eldest son Josh finally visited her after almost two months of being away from each other. 

"Guess who's here? Someone's here. Our probinsyano is here to visit us, visit me!" said the 50-year-old TV host on her recent Instagram story.


"Pero may schedule. Sinabi na babalik daw siya right away. Babalik daw siya sa Alto at 4 o'clock."

Kris has earlier said that Josh has decided to live with his brother former President Benigno Aquino III. 


In the video, Kris asked Josh why he prefers to stay in Tarlac. Among is answers were fresh air, he can jog there, does e-bike and rides a golf car.


Kris said that the last time he saw Josh was on Christmas eve last year.


"Parang dumedma ka sa main. Parang nag-create ka ng new life mo in Tarlac. So ganyan pala ang feeling," Kris told Josh about her two cents in their reunion.


Kris said that she understood her son's decision.

"I think mahirap labanan ang memories ng lola," she said.

Josh stays in the room of his grandmother former President Corazon Aquino, Kris added.


Kris said that it was her mom who molded and guided Josh to the man who he is now. 


"Ang lola niya talaga ang pumuno sa lahat. So I can truly understand kung bakit du'n niya gusto," she also said.


"Kasi all those times, na the mother was too busy -- and so many of the working moms can understand this --- if the lola was the one who went at nagpunta (sa school activities) at pinunuan 'yung mga hindi kayang gawin nu'ng nanay na nagtatrabaho, then the lola will always be number one, and that's fine. Because I could never have been able to raise a boy na ganito ka geneorus, ganito kabait sa lahat. Turo ng lola!"


Kris said that she will support Josh on his dreams and goals. She has aso agreed to her son's request to ride some of her cars.


"Obviously, 'yung nanay maghahanap na ng bahay duon kasi humihiram lang kami. Teachnically 'yung bahay where he's living, sa kanyang favorite uncle kasi nu'ng naghatian sa kanya. So humihiram lang. So kailangan 'yung nanay bumili para sa kanya unless, of course, dahil favorite rin naman siya ng favorite uncle niya, let's pray! Baka ibigay sa kanya! Ay nag-parinig."
