30 Ormoc fishermen receive relief supplies

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) distributed on Tuesday, Feb. 16 relief supplies to 30 fishermen in Ormoc Bay, Leyte as a support amid coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Coast Guard Station Western Leyte delivered the relief supplies, along with a maritime security patrol and information dissemination on the Safety, Security, and Environmental Numbering (SSEN) System.

Each relief pack consists of rice, canned goods, and instant noodles.

“Sa pinagsama-samang kontribusyon ng PCG Station Western Leyte bilang suporta sa mga Pilipinong patuloy na nagtatrabaho para sa pamilya sa kabila ng pagsubok na dulot ng pandemya (The combined contribution of PCG Station Western Leyte in support of Filipinos who continue to work hard for their family despite the trials caused by the pandemic), the PCG said in a statement.
