Denise Barbacena emotional after her online graduation

Singer-actress Denise Barbacena couldn't hold her emotions as she finally completed her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science degree.

Barbacena took to social media on Saturday, Feb. 13 to share the good news, "So this happened… Ten years finishing a degree, and a year late (online) graduation ceremony, but still feeling beyond grateful and ever accomplished! Thank you Lord! Congratulations batch 2020!!"

Friends, family and celebrity friends, including Jonalyn Viray and Mikoy Morales, showed their support in the comments section.

Jonalyn wrote: "Congrats Den"

"Ang daming science," said Mikoy.

Denise made her showbiz career debut, after joining GMA Network's "Protégé: The Battle for the Big Break" back in 2011, where he became rap artist Gloc-9's Protégé and went on to make the viral 2013 campaign jingle "Dapat Tama."
