Upcoming RPG 'Black Myth' has a Chinese New Year trailer

It came as a surprise in 2020 when an obscure game developer uploaded 13-minutes of official gameplay footage on YouTube of an RPG title no one has heard of.

The only thing folks knew at that time was that the game looked sick, featuring a character that resembled the legendary Monkey King from Chinese folklore, in gorgeous action-packed sequences that rivaled the most popular RPG titles then (like "Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order" and "Ghost of Tsushima").

The game, dubbed as "Black Myth: Wukong," is a project by Chinese indie game developer Game Science Studios. Since that surprise footage dropped, there has been a lot of hype surrounding the game. But there hasn't been much in terms of updates about it, until three days ago when Game Science dropped the first official trailer for it, and it features a special Chinese New Year greeting.
