Maris Racal opens up about her insecurities

Actress Maris Racal posted a series of tweets sharing her journey on overcoming her past insecurities.

Racal tweeted: "Omg may she-share ako sa inyo. This was me in my ANTM era and my nene era. Feel na feel ko yung ganda ko nun but behind the camera, i had SO many insecurities. Marami akong #SanaAll goals."

The "Stay-In Love" star went on to explain how "maarte" she was in terms of how she looked "to keep up with all the pretty girls" and shared how she would constantly ask her mom for her beauty regiments due to her insecurities.

"Looking back, naisip ko bakit kaya ako ganun? Simply because I was young and Insecure. Now that I'm more mature, I've learned to love my own beauty. My own skin. Lahat ng tao may kanya kanyang natural na ganda and we're all in a long trip to loving ourselves."

Racal went on to advise everyone to "be true" to yourselves and "gaganda ka naturally."

For those who are considering or already gone under the knife, Racal said: "Choice mo lahat ng gusto mong gawin sa katawan mo, sa sarili mo basta love yourselves lang basta love yourselves lang lang talaga mga sizt!!! Self love is the best love and I do this by taking care of my skin and I like to keep it natural."
