Darren Espanto reacts to image of maskless Super Bowl fans

Canadian-Filipino singer Darren Espanto, who currently lives in Canada, can't help but notice the crowds who attended the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida.

Espanto expressed his dismay in a tweet that reads: "It's crazy to see that this is what's happening in the country below usâ€¦ yikes."

Attached to his post is a video from AJ Plus showing footage of how most fans break the current health and safety protocols and act as if COVID-19 is non-existent.

A lot of his fans shared the same sentiment by replying:

"A disrespect and disregard to our sacrifices as health workers. Unbelievable!"

"We should not forget to wear masks."

"I just cringe watching this."

According to a recent post by CNN Health, the US leads in terms of COVID-19 cases worldwide, with a total of 27, 279,523 as of writing.
