Myla Pablo joins Petro Gazz Angels

The Petro Gazz Angels bolstered their lineup with the acquisition of star Myla Pablo.

The team made the announcement on social media, welcoming the 27-year-old outside hitter who has won multiple Finals Most Valuable Player awards in the Premier Volleyball League.

“NEW ANGEL ALERT! Gazzmates, let’s all welcome our newest addition to the Petro Gazz Angels family!” the team posted on Twitter.

A former National University standout, Pablo has played for the Philips Gold Lady Slammers in 2015, then joined the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors from 2016 to 2018.

The Motolite Power Builders then acquired her in 2019 before joining the Angels.

She was also a member of the national team that competed and finished 12^th in the 2015 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship held in China.

Pablo won the Finals MVP in the 2017 Reinforced Conference, and the Conference MVP in the 2017 Open and 2018 Reinforced Conference.

Pablo joins fellow recruits Remy Palma, Ces Molina, Mean Mendrez, Seth Rodriguez, Kath Arado and Ria Meneses.
