Want to watch Paulo Avelino play? Actor now part of rising esports firm

Paulo Avelino has brought his passion for gaming and esports to a whole new level. 

On Monday, February 1, the award-winning actor was announced as a Partner by Luponwxc, one of the leading esports media company and talent agency in the country. 

"We are very proud to announce that we officially welcome Paulo Avelino as part of the #luponwxc Family! Paulo Avelino will be an integral part of the company serving as a Partner," Luponwxc said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page. 

The renowned esports organization even threw a joke implying that Avelino and its amusing shoutcaster Michael Angelo "Alo" Zomil look similar. 

Last January 12, the 32-year-old Avelino posted on his social media channels a photo showing the nearly constructed headquarters of Luponwxc in General Trias, Cavite. 

"Sharing with you our Luponwxc HQ that's 60% complete with 11 studios broadcasting live games, shoutcasting local and international tournaments," Avelino said in the caption. 

Luponwxc was founded by recognized local esports personality Nico Nazario popularly known as "KuyaNic" to advance the growth of the industry in the country. 

The 32-year-old Avelino is an avid gamer, having a channel in the popular livestreaming platform Twitch.
