QC gov't warns residents vs. fake solicitation letters

The Quezon City Task Force on Solid Waste Management (QCTFWSM) on Wednesday, Dec. 8, warned its residents against fake solicitation letters asking for donations for a feeding program.

The letter is said to be distributed by an anonymous member of the Garbage Collectors and Dispatchers Association.

In a Facebook post, the Task Force said that the city takes no part on the solicitation and said that the letters are not from their department.

It added that garbage collectors are also prohibited from conducting solicitations or even asking for donations.

The local government urged the residents who received the letters to report it to the QCTFWSM or send an email to [email protected].
