Family and friends cheer wildly as Derek Ramsay reveals wish on his 45th birthday

Actor Derek Ramsay marked his first birthday as a married guy with a special wish last Dec. 7.

Derek, who just turned 45, revealed his birthday wish to members of his household, including his wife, actress Ellen Adarna.

His family and friends joined the salubong as they sang the birthday song to Derek who danced away happily right in the kitchen.

"I wish it's a boy," said Derek before he put off the candle's flame from a mini birthday cake being held by Ellen.

His companions cheered wildly upon hearing his birthday wish.

Then Derek gave Ellen a big hug. The British-Filipino actor said: "First birthday married!"

Derek and Ellen got married in Bataan last Nov. 11.
