HYBE announces artists for '2022 Weverse Con [New Era]' set on New Year's Eve

HYBE has announced the artists for the global music festival “2022 Weverse Con ,” which will be held both in-person and online at Ilsan’s Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province in South Korea on Dec. 31.

“2022 Weverse Con ” is a music festival where artists and fans can celebrate and welcome the new year.

Headlining the festival are Justin Bieber, BUMZU, DVWN, ENHYPEN, fromis_9, Lee Hyun, Seventeen, and Tomorrow X Together (TXT).

This year’s theme “New Era” is a tribute to the artists and fans who have been apart and now face a new paradigm in music where they can reunite after enduring the difficult and unprecedented times due to the pandemic.

The festival will showcase artists’ stages along with a 2022 New Year countdown event.

Consisting of five multi-stages and special stages accompanied by a live band, this year’s show will unfold in a music-and-talk “hybrid” manner. A special tribute stage is also planned.

HYBE, which launched its own year-end concert titled "2021 New Year’s Eve Live” in December 2020, aims to expand the festival in the future, joining forces with Weverse, by enlarging the roster that includes artists who have joined the fan community platform.
