Filipinos begin their search for the next senators, vice president, and president of the country with the launch of TeleRadyo’s interview series led by Alvin Elchico, Doris Bigornia, Tony Velasquez, and Danny Buenafe featuring Halalan 2022 aspirants.

Alvin and Doris get to challenge the platforms, track record, and issues of aspiring senators in the “Sino SENyo? The Senatorial Candidates’ Interview” every Tuesday and Thursday in their program “SRO: Suhestiyon, Reaksyon at Opinyon” after “TV Patrol.”

The tandem of Tony V and Danny B will test the mettle of those aiming for the two highest posts in the land on “Ikaw ang On The Spot: The Presidential Candidate’s Interview” and “Ikaw ang On The Spot: The Vice Presidential Candidate’s Interview.” Watch for these special episodes of their program “On The Spot,” which airs Monday to Friday at 9 am.

Through these efforts, TeleRadyo aims to give candidates ample opportunity to introduce themselves, present their plans, and address issues raised against them to the electorate. More importantly, it hopes to provide the information that voters need to determine who they will support in the elections, and also convey the concerns of the public to the people vying to serve them.

Through segments such as “SENo Ka?,” “What’s Hot, What’s Not,” “Anong Entry Mo,” “Punto Sen Minuto,” “Sino SENyo?” is able to show the capabilities, convictions, and personalities of the candidates. Viewers and listeners, meanwhile, can participate in the discussion by answering the question in the Punto Poll segment.

The same experience awaits them in “Ikaw ang On The Spot,” with segments like “E-Pakilala,””Yung Totoo,” “CALLitan na,” “Mukhang May Laman,” and “sQuiz it.”

Before launching “Sino SENyo? The Senatorial Candidates’ Interview” and “Ikaw ang On The Spot: The Presidential Candidate’s Interview” last November, TeleRadyo also had a voters’ education special called “Halalan 101” anchored by Henry Omaga-Diaz in his show “Omaga Diaz Reports.” Here, Filipinos learned more about the history, processes, and issues related to the elections.

Tony and Danny are also behind the Halalan 2022 podcast of ABS-CBN News called “POV:XYZ” where they are joined by members of Generations X, Y, and Z in discussing election topics.
