Malabon City's annual Christmas tree lighting set on Dec. 9

The Malabon City government will hold its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in front of the City Hall on Thursday, Dec. 9.

The event will start at 5:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on Facebook pages of Discover Malabon, 100% Pusong Malabon, Mayor Antolin "Lenlen" Oreta, and Councilor Enzo Oreta.

The local government said the corner of Rizal Avenue and Leono Street, which is in front of the city hall, will be closed to traffic starting 5:00 a.m. on Thursday for the event.

Motorists coming from Gen. Luna and C. Arellano going to Monumento or Navotas City are advised to take Sacristia Street, turn left on F. Sevilla Blvd. to reach Estrella St., then turn right on Leono St. to reach C4 road.

Those coming from C4 road going to the barangays of Concepcion and Hulong Duhat can pass through the streets of Manapat, Adante and Rivera to reach Rizal Avenue.
