LOOK! The stage for 70th Miss Universe Competition in Israel

The stage is almost ready for the 70th Miss Universe Competition in Eilat, Israel on Dec. 12.

In a post by Miss Universe Updates on Instagram, the 80 candidates will begin to see action on this venue for the preliminary and national costume competitions on Dec. 10 (Dec. 11 Manila time).

The prelims will select the top 16 semifinalists for the prestigious pageant, which will be announced during the finals on Dec. 12 (Dec. 13 Manila time).

On Day 9 of the pre-pageant activities, the candidates toured Eilat, Israel's southern gateway.

The Miss Universe Organization said that Eilat is a leading tourism and leisure destination and home to some of the most luxurious hotels in Israel.

Hosting three million domestic and international vacationers annually, Eilat offers over 12,000 hotel rooms of all price categories.

Experiences include desert and sea attractions, diving in the magnificent Red Sea Gulf, jeep tours, walking tracks and vibrant nightlife.
