Move for more

Young automotive brand, Chery continues to offer great value for money with the launch of its newest model, the Tiggo 2 Pro. Launches with the campaign, Move for More, the Tiggo 2 Pro embodies this idea being the new entry-level model of the brand.

Like the hot-selling all-new Tiggo 7 Pro launched early this year, the new Tiggo 2 Pro features upscale European-inspired design, penned by Vice President and Global Chief of Car Design, Kevin Rice. Rice, a Briton, was instrumental in the design of recent Mazdas, from 1999 to 2005 as Hiroshima's European Design Director, including the MX-5 Miata. He was also behind the exterior design of the previous BMW 1, 3 and 4 Series.

The new Tiggo 2 Pro presents a head-turning facade with its big, bold starburst grille and luxuriously slim high-mounted LED daytime running lights (DRL). It comes with more upmarket styling touches like chrome trim on the window beltline and along the rocker panel below the doors. The side features distinctive character lines, power side mirrors with turn signals, roof rails, and generously sized 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with comfort-oriented 205/55R16 tires.

The rear is consistent with its sporty spirit, with beautifully integrated chrome-tipped dual tailpipes housed within a tasteful silver-colored under-bumper diffuser, LED tail lights, and a rear spoiler that underscore the SUV's upmarket appeal.

The same can be said of the interior. The new Tiggo 2 PRO's spacious and well-crafted black faux leather and fabric-covered cabin reflects the same upscale style and premium build quality. There’s elegant single stitching on the seats and silver trim on the doors, console, and leather steering wheel. The driver even has a footrest. The driver’s seat is six-way adjustable, while there’s a four-way adjustable front passenger seat. There’s one-touch-down on all four windows.

It has the biggest-in-class touchscreen at nine-inches, connected to a four-speaker infotainment system that boasts of Bluetooth, Mirror Link, QDLink, and Apple CarPlay and USB connectivity. These can be controlled from the multi-function control buttons on the flat-bottom steering wheel.

Other premium Tiggo 2 Pro features include an Intelligent Remote Key with Remote Engine Start that lets you start the engine and cool the interior even before entering the car. There’s also tailgate remote open to quickly access the rear cargo area when loading shopping bags. It has Push-Button Engine Start/Stop, cruise control, reversing camera with dynamic guidelines and reversing sensors, and headlights with a Follow-Me-Home feature that illuminate your path as you walk away from the car and then automatically turn off.

Powering the Tiggo 2 Pro is a 1.5-liter, Euro-5 compliant, four-cylinder gasoline engine coupled with a nine-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The Tiggo 2 Pro's suite of safety and security features include dual front airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX seat anchors for child restraint seats, an electronic anti-theft system with engine immobilizer, and three-point seatbelts for all five occupants.

The new Tiggo 2 Pro promises an easy, delightful, and uncomplicated ownership experience with Chery's standard 10-year/1-million-km engine warranty, a five-year/150,000-km general vehicle warranty, free three-years preventive maintenance service (PMS), and free three-years roadside assistance.

"The Tiggo 2 PRO boasts a standard array of exterior and interior features you'd find only in high-end SUV’s, and definitely not in entry-level models," said Chery Auto Philippines President, Erroll Dueñas.

"The new CHERY Tiggo 2 PRO absolutely demolishes the 'small SUV versus small sedan' comparison—it offers more style, more space, more versatility, more comfort, and more features," he added.

The 2022 CHERY Tiggo 2 Pro has an introductory price of P818,000. Take a closer look at the Tiggo 2 Pro's game-changing affordable luxury at any of the 22 health-protocol-compliant CHERY dealerships nationwide. Or better yet take one out for a test drive.
