Marian Rivera leaves for 70th Miss Universe in Israel as husband Dingdong Dantes pens sweet message

Kapuso star Marian Rivera leaves tonight, Dec. 6, for the 70th Miss Universe Competition, which will be held in Israel on Dec. 12 (Dec. 13 Manila time).

On Twitter, Kapuso entertainment broadcaster Nelso Canlas shared a photo with Marian taken at the Ninouy Aquino International Airport in Paranaque City.

"Have a safe flight, Yan! We're very proud of you," tweeted Nelson.

Two days before Marian's flight, Dingdong wrote a special message to his wife on Instagram.

"Sabi nga ng bandang Hotdog, 'Malinaw na malinaw, ngayon at ano mang araw, ikaw ang Miss Universe ng buhay ko.' Naaaaks," said Dingdong. "Always proud of you."

The couple's friends were thrilled with Dingdong's IG message.

"Sweeeeeet namaaaaaan" wrote Tim Yap.

"Hangshweeeeet!!" said Tintin Bersola.

GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Valdes commented with heart emojis.
