British-made custom bikes now in the Philippines

Mutt Motorcycles opens in Clark

Riding in style has been made a lot more accessible with the arrival of Mutt Motorcycles in the Philippines. Founded in Birmingham in the UK, the brand features British retro custom style with modern Japanese powertrain components.

Mutt Motorcycles was founded in the U.K. by Benny Thomas, one of the most respected personalities in the British custom bike scene. Thomas specialized in designing, sourcing, and fettling expensive motorcycles for Harley Davidson and even Porsche. In 2013, he and his business partner, Will Rigg, decided to build small-engine, stylish, vintage-feel custom bikes.

Now, Mutt Motorcycles brings its unique brand of custom vintage style to the Philippines. The bikes are built on TIG-welded frames. The creators put a lot of attention into the finer details, such as CNC-machined fork caps and aluminum stalks to support the LED turn signal lights. For riding comfort and convenience, it comes with Alcantara seat upholstery. and ABS.

Motivating all Mutt Motorcycles are a choice of single cylinder air-cooled 125cc or 250cc Suzuki-sourced engines with a Delphi fuel injection system. This allows it to make 21-horsepower and 18-Nm of torque. It’s connected to a five-speed manual for usable real-world maneuverability, power, and of course, bulletproof reliability.

For the Philippine market, Mutt Motorcycles is bringing in seven different models. These are the Razorback, Mastiff, Akita, Hilts, Fat Sabbath, and GT-SS. They’re available in the following colors: Matte Gray, Matte Green, Silver, Glossy Gray, and Raw Steel. Prices for Mutt Motorcycles start at P185,000.

The first Mutt Motorcycle showroom is now open in Clark, Pampanga with plans to open in more locations nationwide soon.
