CDA tackles work, financial plans for 2022

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) started mapping out its strategic plans and preparing its work and financial plan for 2022.

The CDA conducted its 14thPerformance Assessment and Planning Conference (CDAPC) in Nasugbu Highway, Tagaytay City on Nov. 16 to 18.

The event marked the first-ever breakout face-to-face conference of the organization, following the nationwide declaration of quarantine protocols and safety measures imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) in light of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

In a statement, the CDA said it regularly conducts CDAPC wherein the Board of Directors, Head Office Directors, Regional Directors, Division Chiefs and selected CDA personnel meet to discuss the accomplishments and plan for the ensuing year.

Among the features of this year’s conference is the presentation of the plans and accomplishments of the six cooperative clusters: Human Services; Education Advocacy and Union; Public Utilities; Credit and Financial Services; Consumers, Marketing, Producers, and Logistics; and Agriculture, Agrarian, Aquaculture, and Fisherfolk.

CDA pointed out that the conference aims to assess the level of organizational accomplishment in the execution of the agency’s 2019 - 2020 Strategic Plan target.

“ also aims to discuss the draft 2020 Strategic Plan and preparation of the proposed FY 2022 Work and Financial Plan,” it added.

The agency stated that the conference made history in the overall CDA- CDAPC experience due to “the content, the process employed, and the totality of the proceeding” which brings new confidence and trust among CDA officials and participants. (Charie Mae F. Abarca)
