Binibining Pilipinas thanks Samantha Panlilio amid Miss Grand Int'l early exit

Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI) praised the performance of Samantha Panlilio despite her early exit in the Miss Grand International 2021 competition.

During the pageant held in Thailand last Saturday night, Samantha failed to enter the top 20 semifinals. Vietnam's Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien was crowned Miss Grand International 2021.

The BPCI led by Stella Marquez Araneta reiterated its support to the Filipina beauty queen.

"Thank you for raising our flag, Sam!," they wrote on social media.

"Stella Marquez Araneta and BPCI are delighted with your grand performance at Miss Grand International. Thank you for giving the Philippines a good fight in Thailand. We are very proud of you, our Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021."

Prior, Nicole Cordoves (2016) and Samantha Bernardo (2020) almost clinched the title after placing first runner-up.

Samantha's batch mates for this year's edition were able to bring home the crowns.

Last month, Cindy ObeÃ±ita was named Miss Intercontinental 2021 then a few weeks later, Maureen Montagne was crowned Miss Globe in Albania.
