Paranaque City gov't sets up service center at Ayala Malls

The Paranaque City government and the Ayala Malls inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the establishment of Paranaque City Public Service Center.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez thanked Christopher Maglanoc, Ayala Malls president, and France Eusebio, general manager of Ayala Malls Manila Bay, for partnering with the city government.

Olivarez said the institutional partnership with Ayala Malls is a game-changer initiative in bringing the local government's programs and services closer to the citizens of Parañaque City.

He said the Paranaque City Public Center will be located on the 4th floor, IT Zone, of Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The mayor said the service center will provide full range of onsite services such as assessment and payment of real property taxes; issuance of community tax certificate; mayor's permit to work, health certificate and police clearance; issuance or release of authenticated birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate, and certificate of no marriage by the Local Civil Registrar's Office.

Olivarez said the service center also offers assessment, payment and issuance of business permits; issuance of Senior Citizen ID and booklet; public information assistance; issuance of National Vaccine Certificate (VAXCERTPH); traffic violation receipt and other government-related services.

Lawyer Melanie Soriano Malaya, head of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) said the assessment, renewal and payment of business permits will start in the first week of January, and the service center will help lessen the overcrowding at the City Hall.

Malaya also said the City Council will pass measures to give big and small businesses in the city an amnesty on all penalties and surges incurred due to delayed payments.
