How did Dingdong Dantes react to Marian Rivera being picked as Miss Universe judge?

Marian Rivera is only too happy having been chosen to sit as judge at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel.

But how about Dingdong Dantes?

Well, according to Marian herself, Dingdong is as happy about it as she is.

She then related to us how she told her husband about it.

"Nung tinawagan nila ako, na kung okay ako na judge, sabi ko: 'Sandali lang tawagan ko 'yung asawa ko!'"

"Sabi ng asawa ko: 'Wow, Nakakaproud naman! You have to go there.' Ganun kaagad 'yung sinabi niya sa'kin."

More than that, Dingdong actually offered to act as her chaperone at the event.

"Nakakatuwa na ganoon ang suporta niya," Marian shared.

The coronation night happens Dec. 12.
