Maxene Magalona reacts to questions about her personal life

Maxene Magalona has recently responded to queries involving her personal life.



According to her, she has been receiving a "lot" of questions about it.



"So I would just like to share a few things which I believe we can all learn from," she said.


Maxene said it is not polite to ask people about other's personal lives.


"Especially when you don’t know them personally," she pointed out.



"And even if you do know them, you should give them space and wait for them to open up to you instead of prying and wanting to invade their privacy," she added.



The 35-year-old Kapamilya star also reiterated that "actors are human beings, too."



"Even if our job entails us to be in the limelight, it doesn’t mean that we owe our private stories to the public," she related.



She said everyone has the right to choose when and with whom she will share her stories.



"Social media should be a safe space where we can all express ourselves healthily and authentically, selecting only what we want to share," she said.



Maxene noted that "gossip is a form of energy leak."



So she advised negative people to better spend their energy praying rather than gossiping.


"Inner peace is achieved when we focus on ourselves and not on the lives of others," she said. "God is love."



"If you’re wondering why I am happy and at peace, it’s because I strengthen my connection to God every day. I even sing to Him when I’m overflowing with gratitude."



Maxene warned her bashers to do not come to her page for gossips. "Come to my page for God."
