Manila city gov't employees to receive P10,000 cash incentive

Employees of the Manila Local Government Unit (LGU) will receive P10,000 cash incentive.

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso signed Ordinance No. 8799 (CO 8799) on Friday, Dec. 31, which grants a one-time Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to the LGU employees

The ordinance, principally authored by Manila Councilors Joel R. Chua and Macario M. Lacson, was enacted following the signing of Administrative Order No. 45, Series of 2021, which authorized the granting of SRI to government employees for the year 2021.

A total of P 91,500,000 will be used to fund the SRI for about 9,150 Manila LGU employees.
