Duterte, Sotto get high approval rating among top gov't officials - Pulse Asia survey

President Duterte and Senate President Vicente Sotto III got high approval ratings in the recently conducted survey by Pulse Asia on the performance ratings of top government officials.

The December 2021 "Ulat ng Bayan" national survey released on Thursday, Dec. 30 conducted from Dec. 1 to 6 showed that the President enjoyed a 72 percent approval rating while Sotto got 71 percent.

On the other hand, Vice President presidential aspirant Leni Robredo got a 43 percent approval rating.

Meanwhile, Speaker Lord Allan Velasco as well as Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo both received a 31 percent approval rating.

"This nationwide survey is based on a sample of 2,400 representative adults 18 years old and above. It has a ± 2% error margin at the 95% confidence level," Pulse Asia said.
