Netizens think 'pamamanhikan' happened between Dominic Roque & Bea Alonzo's families

Dominic Roque's mom, Lena, has shared a cryptic post on Instagram.

It actually ignited rumors that the hunk actor and his girlfriend Bea Alonzo are now engaged and soon to be married.

Note that Lena shared a photo of her pinky swear promising with Bea's mom, Mary Anne Ronollo.

"@madame_m_1117 Sumpaan at Kasunduan (heart emojis)," her caption read.

"To make a pinky promise, or pinky swear, is a traditional gesture most commonly practiced among children involving the locking of the pinkies of two people to signify that a promise has been made."

Netizens are convinced that a "pamamanhikan" has occurred.

Pamanhikan is the Filipino tradition of a man and his family visiting his future bride’s family in order to ask for her hand in marriage.

Recall that both families celebrated the recent holiday together at Bea's 16-hectare farm in Zambales.

Among the comments:

Prior, Lena also shared group photos of the Ranollo and Roque families in 2020 and 2021.
