Subaru launches new XV GT Edition

MotorImage Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, is pleased to introduce the new 2021 Subaru XV GT Edition. The latest XV GT offers added sportiness for a more aggressive look to cater to stylish, dynamic, and young-at-heart individuals who truly want to make a statement on the streets.

The second XV GT model was once again created in close collaboration with renowned engineering company Giken Co. Ltd and Masahiko “Jack” Kobayashi. The 2021 XV GT’s body kit is more aggressive, yet perfectly integrated with the newly facelifted XV. The front under spoiler has been redesigned and front bumper garnishes have been added.

The new XV GT is underpinned by the four hallmark Subaru Core Technologies, which contribute towards optimized handling, maximum comfort, and enhanced safety for all on board. The four Subaru Core Technologies are: Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Boxer Engine, Subaru Global Platform, and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.

The new XV GT also sports Subaru’s SI-Drive and Dual-function X-Mode for more dynamic performance and enhanced off-road capability, respectively.

SI-Drive is Subaru’s powertrain performance management system that allows the driver to choose between the vehicle’s “Sport” and “Intelligent” modes.

Selecting “Intelligent” mode helps smooth out accelerator inputs for fuel saving. “Sport” mode tunes the throttle to emphasize performance – which means the car responds immediately and powerfully in a refined manner – allowing for speedy acceleration.

Perfectly suited for Philippine terrain, Dual-function X-Mode allows the driver to select between two different settings tailored to specific driving conditions. It complements Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to allow drivers to take the road less travelled more confidently, especially on uneven or compromising surfaces and challenging inclines.

With all these seriously exciting enhancements, the new Subaru XV GT Edition is now sportier and ready for adventure with stylish Philippine drivers who want to stand out from the sea of crossovers on the road.

The new Subaru XV GT Edition is now officially available to order. It will retail for P2,008,000 and will be available in up to eight colors: Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Cool Grey Khaki, Plasma Yellow Pearl, Horizon Blue Pearl, Pure Red, Magnetite Grey Metallic, and Crystal Black Silica.
