Sista eyes second title in PBA 3x3 Leg 4

Sista shoots for another crown while previous winners TNT and Meralco aim to bounce back from disappointing performances today in the fourth leg of the PBA 3x3 tournament at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Super Sealers start their bid against the Cavitex Braves at 2 p.m. before they face Zamboanga Valientes and Platinum Karaoke as part of a busy 16-game schedule in the latest staging of the PBA’s halfcourt event.

Kenneth Mocon, Leo de Vera, Prince Rivero and RJ Argamino had superb performances that resulted in the third leg championship and P100,000 for Rain or Shine’s representative in the 3x3 tilt.

They are eager to continue their form, beginning in Pool A where the Super Sealers are also joined by the Limitless Appmasters.

First leg winner TNT will try to bounce back from missing the quarterfinals with Almond Vosotros leading the charge while Leg 2 champion Meralco is out for redemption after being eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Meralco is in Pool B with third leg runner-up Pioneer, Barangay Ginebra and San Miguel Beer while TNT will face Terrafirma, Purefoods and NorthPort in Pool C.

Terrafirma is coming off a third place finish in Leg 3 while Purefoods tries to make another deep run led by Joseph Eriobu, one of the league’s top scorers.

Another P100,000 will be given to the champion while the runner-up and third placer get P50,000 and P30,000.
