45 families affected in QC fire

Around 45 families were affected by the fire that broke out in a residential building at Sitio Pingkian 2, Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City on Wednesday, Dec. 29.

According to the Bureau of Fire Public information office (BFP-PIO), the fire was raised to 1st alarm at around 12:00 a.m.

It went up to 2nd alarm at around 12:18 a.m. and was declared under control at around 1:20 a.m.

The BFP declared fire out at around 1:21 a.m.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.

The initial damage to property was estimated at P30,000.

No injuries and casualties were reported.
