Rozz Daniels named most promising female pop rock diva

Soft Rock Diva Rozz Daniels has been named Most Promising Female Pop Rock Diva of the Year by the Phoenix Excellence Award 2021 for Entertainment.
Rozz was awarded by Ronald Abad, founder and events director of the award-giving body, who handed her a trophy and a certificate.
During her visit to the Philippines, Rozz who is based in Wisconsin, USA, said that she is preparing to launch her debut single "Alay Sa Iyo" composed by the multi-awarded Ivy Violan; and the song "Bakit" composed by Rannie Raymundo and Ivy Violan.
Rozz also said that she will go on tour in the Philippines as she releases her latest album in 2022.
Recently, Rozz was awarded 2021 Most Outstanding International Female Performer as conferred by the Philippine Movie Press Club Star Awards for Music.
The Phoenix Excellence Award will be held at the Resorts World Manila Newport Performing Arts Theater on Feb. 18, 2022. It will benefit Dugong Alay Dugtong Buhay, Angels Helping Hands, Sagip Foundation, and The Baby Angels Foundation.

Among the awardees include Toni Ginzaga, Phenomenal Female Vlogger; Wilbert Tolentino, Phenomenal Male Vlogger; Alex Gonzaga, Female Vlogger of the Year; Ranz Kyle Guerrero, Male Vlogger of the Year; Eat Bulaga, Phenomenal Noontime Show; Arjo Atayde, Actor of the Year; Sylvia Sanchez, Actress of the Year; GMA 7, Best TV Station of the Year; Lunch Out Loud, Best Noontime Show; Ivan Mayrina, Best Male Newscaster; Vicky Morales, Best Female Newscaster; Ronnie Liang, Phenomenal Male Balladeer, etc.
At a press conference held at the Overview Resto Bar on Quezon Avenue in Quezon City, Rozz also introduced her friends who were part of the weekly Kumu variety show entitled "The Rocks and Rozz Show." They were Jerome Sangalang, Harold Evangelista, Derf Dwayne, Blessie Cicera and Analyn Torregosa.
Rozz said that she was thrilled to see her Kumu friends for the first time. "We only jam in music via Kumu online. Finally, I've met them. We all enjoy music, and they're like my children."
She also revealed plans of reviving Visayan love songs.
Rozz said she is now living her childhood dream. She has always wanted to sing and even joined several amateur singing contests in the Philippines. The last one was in 2010 in Wisconsin, USA.Â
"I've been singing since I was 8 years old. Then at 10, I joined a choir."It was her late Dad who encouraged her to sing but she stopped singing due to several reasons: early marriage, work and living in the US and studies.Â
When her Dad passed in 2015, Rozz said she decided to fulfill his last wish for her to sing professionally and show the world her talent.
