Mike Magat receives Most Admired Indie Actor and Director Award

Actor-director Mike Magat caps the year 2021 as he receives an award from ASEAN Excellence Achievers Awards 2021 for being the Most Admired Indie Actor and Director.

Mike is now active as actor-director-producer of independent movies. His latest project, "Love, Hope and Faith," is an entry for a short film competition at Berlin Independent Film Festival 2022 and Cannes Film Festival 2022.

After making waves abroad as the Philippine entry in several film festivals, Mike’s "Love, Hope and Faith" is scheduled for local release on various platforms.

According to Mike: ”What I’m doing now is all experimental projects. Because I love show business, I want to grow as an artist. I enjoy producing, directing, and acting at the same time. It is my goal to be recognized as a better artist as long as doing good things in showbiz.”

Mike is busy now as CEO of Sonza Entertainment Production on Channel One Global Station. Soon, he’s planning to have his own TV channel on cable television.
