Mayor Isko to continue campaigning despite ranking third in Pulse Asia survey
Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso remained unfazed and hopeful about his chances of winning in the 2022 presidential elections despite his 3rd ranking in the Pulse Asia survey from Dec. 1 to 6.
Domagoso placed 3rd in an eight percent tie with fellow presidential candidate Senator Manny Pacquiao.
“Well, thank you very much. At least bagamat kahit ako’y pipitsuging kandidato, at least andudun lang, dire-diretso lang. Tayo naman ang focus ko lang is umikot ng umikot (Even though I’m an underdog candidate, I’m still going forward. My focus is to go around ). It’s a big country politically. While we are geographically small, but politically, it’s a very challenging country because you must cross waters from one place to another most of the time. And we will try to reach as many people as possible, and hopefully, may awa ang Diyos (with God’s grace), we will win,” said Domagoso.

Domagoso also said that he and his team would continue to campaign via his nationwide listening tour.
“Basta ako bababa sa gitna ng komunidad nila, sa gitna ng bukirin, sa gitna ng palaisdaan, sa población, sa siyudad, sa barangay and so on and so forth. Ang gusto ko makinig sa taong bayan, makipag-usap sa taong bayan. At sa pakikinig sa kanila, marami akong natututunan (I will continue to visit their communities, their farms, their fisheries, their barangays. I want to continue listening to and speaking with our countrymen. By listening to them, I learn a lot),” he said.
