Biñan records zero active COVID-19 cases for first time in 21 months


BIÑAN, Laguna – The city government recorded zero active cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for the first time over the past 21 months.

The Biñan City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit announced the development on Monday (Dec. 27).

Despite recording zero active cases, the local government unit reminded residents to keep observing minimum public health standards to maintain the city's COVID-19-free status.

Biñan has recorded over 8,000 COVID-19 cases since the onset of the pandemic.
