Valenzuela City to open vax site for booster shots on Jan. 3

Another COVID-19 vaccination site dedicated for booster shots is set to open in Valenzuela City in January 2022, the local government announced on Monday, Dec. 27.

Fully vaccinated residents can get their COVID-19 booster shots at Serrano Elementary School in Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela City starting Jan. 3, 2022.

To avail of a booster shot, a resident must be fully vaccinated at least six months prior and three months for those who were inoculated with Janssen brand.

Residents are advised to bring ValTrace QR Code, VCVax passport, and medical certificate on their scheduled time and date for booster shot.

The city government started administering COVID-19 booster shots on Nov. 25 upon approval of the Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
